Drivers Urged To Look Out For Vulnerable Road Users As Clocks Go Forward on Sunday

Parents asked to talk to children about ‘dos and don’ts’ of road safety over mid-term break.
As the clocks go forward this weekend, be aware of vulnerable roads users. As the evenings get brighter, more pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and horse riders will be taking to the roads, so when using public roads as driver be aware of this and expect the unexpected.
Children will be on Easter mid-term break for the next 2 weeks. As a result there is likely to be an increase in the number of children cycling or walking on or near the public road and in housing estates. Again as a drivers be aware of it and be prepare to react to hazard at all times, slow down!!!… (Parents asked to talk to children about ‘dos and don’ts’ of road safety over mid-term break)
