When you have done lesson 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th & 8th EDTs with an ADI
(Approved Driving Instructor) . You can do lessons 9, 10, 11, & 12 EDTs in the order to suit you.
After taking 8hrs EDT & practice, you should be able to drive in fast–moving traffic or where speeds are highly variable. For example, you should be able to drive where there are changing speed limits or variable traffic conditions. You should also be able to drive independently.
The outcomes of lessons EDT 10 are:
– Manage & control your speed.
– Drive safely in fast moving traffic.
– Drive safely where speeds are highly variable.
– And make decisions independently when challenging situations.
Beside you practice & the 10 EDT you should be able to describe how to drive safely in fast-moving traffic during different weather conditions & also explain how to use the vehicle main control & complying with the speed limits affect the environments.
If you are struggling with lesson 10 (EDT), maybe more practice with an ADI, your sponsor, or both would be advisable as lesson 10 is very challenging (the RSA are recommending 3 hours tuition between each EDT).
If you need more help on EDT you can email me for further details on francis@castletownsom.com.
